The program further equips participants with the expertise to use Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint effectively, emphasizing skills that align with the Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Specialist/Expert Certification standards. With a focus on accessibility, this training ensures students are fully prepared to use these tools for personal and professional success.

This program is designed to provide beginners with foundational skills in using assistive technology tools to enhance accessibility and independence in personal, academic, and professional settings. Participants will learn to navigate and use the JAWS Screen Reader, NVDA, Windows Narrator, ZoomText Magnifier/Reader, Fusion, or VoiceOver for the Mac effectively for a variety of tasks, while also building a solid foundation for efficient computer navigation. Training includes the use of the file management, web browsing, and productivity applications, as well as enhancing reading and interaction with a computer. This comprehensive program ensures participants are well-prepared to leverage these technologies for greater accessibility and productivity.

Participants will learn fundamental concepts of money management, including budgeting, saving, and investing, tailored to their unique needs. Through this comprehensive training, individuals will gain the knowledge and skills needed to make informed financial decisions and build a secure financial future.

By focusing on practical, hands-on activities, the program empowers individuals to navigate their environments, perform everyday tasks with confidence, and build a solid foundation for lifelong learning and self-reliance.

Participants will learn braille fundamentals, including the alphabet, numbers, punctuation, and practical applications for daily activities such as labeling, note-taking, and reading. By mastering braille, individuals can enhance their access to education, employment opportunities, and personal growth, supporting a more independent and fulfilling lifestyle.

 The CareerBridge Program is a transformative, two-month immersive experience designed to equip individuals with the skills and confidence needed for meaningful employment. This program focuses on developing critical workplace and personal skills through interactive workshops, real-world experiences, and hands-on training. Participants will engage in activities that foster professional growth, enhance employability, and build expertise to succeed in diverse professional environments. With a comprehensive approach to career readiness, the CareerBridge Program empowers individuals to take the next step toward achieving their professional goals.

 The CollegeConnect Preparation Summer Program is a comprehensive three-month course running from mid-May to mid-August, designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful transition to college life. This intensive program focuses on building a strong foundation in academic, career, financial, and personal development, ensuring participants are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities of higher education. Through targeted training and practical exercises, students will gain confidence and readiness for college. The summer program serves as a seamless transition into the CollegeConnect Semester Program, providing continued support and development for long-term success.

 The CollegeConnect Semester Program is a 16-week course designed to support students in achieving academic success and personal growth during their post-secondary education. This program provides students with the skills, strategies, and confidence needed to thrive in a college environment. Participants will focus on key areas such as academic excellence, self-advocacy, and effective time management, enabling them to navigate the demands of higher education with independence and assurance. By fostering a strong foundation for success, the program empowers students to achieve their educational and personal goals. 

 The EmpowerAbility: A Self-Employment Preparedness Program is a six-month course designed to support individuals with disabilities who are interested in starting or enhancing their own business. With a schedule of two sessions per week, each lasting three hours, this program provides a structured and engaging environment to explore self-employment as a viable career option. Participants will gain comprehensive knowledge, mentorship, and practical tools to develop entrepreneurial skills while addressing unique barriers such as accessibility and funding challenges. Through this program, participants will build confidence, independence, and the skills needed to create and manage a sustainable business, empowering them to achieve their entrepreneurial goals.

 The HiSET Exam Preparation Program is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to successfully pass the High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) and earn their high school equivalency credential. This comprehensive program covers all five HiSET subject areas: Language Arts – Reading, Language Arts – Writing, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Through targeted instruction and practice, participants will build the confidence and proficiency needed to achieve their educational goals and unlock new opportunities for personal and professional growth. 

 The Customer Service Training Program is designed to prepare participants with the essential skills, knowledge, and attitudes required to deliver outstanding customer service. This program emphasizes the development of effective communication skills, practical problem-solving strategies, and techniques for managing challenging situations with professionalism and poise. Through interactive training and real-world scenarios, participants will gain the confidence and expertise needed to provide exceptional customer experiences and excel in any customer-facing role. 

 The ServSafe Manager Certification Training is a three-week program designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage food safety in foodservice operations. With a class schedule of three days per week, four hours per day, this comprehensive training prepares participants to confidently take the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam. Upon successful completion, participants will be equipped to implement industry best practices for food safety and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, making them valuable assets in any foodservice setting.
